Permeability Cup (NU-235)

To determine the permeability of film of paints, Varnish etc. Film is gripped between a ring fitted with a seal and the cup which contains a quantity of water. Then placed into a desiccator at 38°C. Periodic weighing every 24 hrs. indicates the loss of water that has permeated through the film.
