Cooler and cryo-boxes or cryoware are used for storage in liquid nitrogen or mechanical freezers. Cryogenic vials, centrifugation tubes or microtubes can all be stored in these boxes. They have a removable grid on the inside. These can easily be stacked one upon the other.   Cooler and cryoware are made of polypropylene or cardboard, resistant to extreme temperatures (up to -80C), and generally break-resistant. Available in different colors, and can be labeled with stickers or markers. Light sensitive samples can be stored in an all-black box.
