The head rotates 360 degrees and the eyepieces lock in place to avoid tampering. The information written on the objectives and stage is laser etched and engraved so it will not wear off like other microscopes over time. The XY mechanical stage is rackless and provides smooth and precise movements. The slide holder is an easy one handed slide holder and designed to prevent slide chipping. The condenser is fully focusable and has markings on it for each objective setting to match for the best resolution possible. The LED illumination provides bright even illumination and elminates the need for bulb changes. A 2 hour auto off feature is built into the microscope so you do not waste energy, this feature can be disabled if desired. All touch points of the microscope at AgTreated with silver microbial paint to help prevent the spread of disease from user to user. Lastly this microscope can accept the Leica ICC50 W camera at anytime which provides HDMI, USB, and WiFi output without the need for a trinouclar head.
